Maya Herm is the Senior Manager of Customer Success & Strategy for Relo Metrics, covering the UK/EMEA business and clients. With experience across the sports industry, on and off the pitch, Maya leads strategy on growing Relo's impact in sponsorship measurement and media analysis for brands and sports properties along with powering business outcomes for Relo's client base.
With a passion for women's sport and belief in its commercial viability, Maya has led the charge in Relo's involvement in the space by founding the Women's Football CollabWomen's Football Collab, a programme granting free access to media valuation for women's football clubs in the UK while also bringing the teams together to meet and collaborate monthly on all topics across measurement, data, media valuation, sponsorship, commercial strategy and more.
Maya also aims to give back to the women's sport community by hosting informal networking lunches on a regular basis at the Allbright, of which she is a member, and encourages those she meets to do the same in their own way. Each lunch serves as an easy and fun networking opportunity for women in sport and then has in turn, enabled other lunch attendees to pay it forward and to create their own informal events, like most recently a London Lions game and coming up, a women-in-sport golf/driving range and drinks event with, noting that we must all still contribute to the growth of women's sport in our own ways.

Alex is the senior partnerships manager for The Ringer at Spotify UK, managing a slate of football and rugby podcasts owned and operated by the platform - podcasts she looks after include Ian Wright's Wrighty's House and women's football podcast Counter Pressed with Flo Lloyd-Hughes.
Alex has been at Spotify for over 5 years, developing and deploying podcast strategy. She also works on a range of DE&I initiatives across the company.
Prior to her time at Spotify she worked at podcast company audioBoom as sports content lead, and started her career at IMG as a radio producer working on audio coverage of a broad range of sporting events - including 4 Wimbledons, 3 Champions League finals, 2 editions of The Open and a Rugby Union World Cup.

ERIN CUTHBERT
PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALLER | CHELSEA FC & SCOTLAND TEAM
Erin is a professional footballer for Chelsea (199 apps) and Scotland national team (60apps).
She represented her country at Scotland’s first ever European Championships and World Cup and scored Scotland’s first ever goal at a major tournament. With Chelsea, Erin is a 4x WSL League Champion and 4x FA Cup Winner with the club.
Off the pitch, Erin has balanced full-time football with earning her Honours Degree in Business and is currently studying for her masters alongside learning a language.

Before joining the Civil Service, Lucy spent five years at Liverpool FC leading the Club's development into priority markets - at the time the US & China.
Since joining the Department for Culture, Media and Sport she has worked on the sale of Chelsea FC, the Government's White Paper on independent regulation of men's football, and most recently worked alongside Karen Carney and her expert panel on the Review of Women's Football. The latter culminated in the publication of Raising the Bar - Reframing the Opportunity in Women's Football, in July 2023.

JANE PURDON
DIRECTOR | WOMEN IN FOOTBALL
Jane is an author and senior football executive. Her book ‘The Homecoming: the Lionesses and Beyond’ tells the story of the magical summer of 2022 when the Lionesses brought football home, interwoven with the wider story of women’s role in football in England, and Jane’s personal story.
Jane served as the first ever CEO of Women in Football from December 2018 to November 2021. She remains on WIF's board.
Having qualified as a lawyer and in 2001 Jane was appointed Club Secretary and Solicitor at Sunderland AFC, the club’s first ever in-house lawyer and one of the first such appointments by a Premier League club. In 2005 she joined the Premier League, enjoying 10 eventful years where she rose to become the Premier League’s Director of Governance.
While at the Premier League, Jane had responsibility for maintaining and enforcing the Premier League rulebook, with a particular focus on the rules concerning the transfer system, club ownership, club profitability and sustainability, and club licensing. She was the Premier League’s representative on several committees of UEFA, FIFA and the Association of European Leagues.
Jane joined UK Sport as Head of Governance and Leadership in 2015, working with the UK’s Olympic and Paralympic programmes to ensure high standards of governance. At UK Sport, Jane worked closely with Sport England to write 'A Code for Sports Governance' and lead its implementation across the British national governing bodies of sport.
She was appointed as Independent Chair of the Professional Game Academy Audit Company in November 2020, a company established by the Premier League, The FA and the EFL to support the development of the world's leading academy system and provide quality assurance to all club academies in the male professional game. She was recently appointed as a member of the Sporting Commission of Premiership Rugby. In addition to her board roles and writing, Jane lectures widely on sports governance and equity and inclusion in elite sport.

Jonny is a Partner in the Sports team at UK and Ireland sport, media and entertainment law firm Sheridans. He is based in London but his practice spans both the UK and Irish sports industries.
He represents athletes and talent on all aspects of their on-field and commercial activities, from endorsement and ambassador deals to player contracts, image rights and transfers. His clients include international players and athletes in football, rugby, boxing, horse racing, cycling and golf. He has most recently spearheaded the Sheridans | Sport’s team’s offering in women’s football along with Daniel Geey, representing a number of the world’s leading players.
He also represents creative, digital and marketing agencies across sport, as well as sports tech, data and media companies. His practice also involves advising governing bodies and federations, clubs and teams and rights holders within sports and esports on sponsorship, media rights and governance/regulatory matters.
He is a non-executive director of the Northern Ireland Football League, and co-founder of the Digital Sport Club, a network of like-minded creatives and thought-leaders working within the digital, sports and creative industries. He was named in the Sport For Business 30 under 30 of Ireland’s future sporting leaders.

The agency is disrupting the sports marketing industry with a sustainable-first, purpose driven approach that takes a stance against betting brands, meat products and plastic.
In this World Cup period, Juliet worked with LEGO on securing talent for their global Play Unstoppable campaign, brokered a children's book about 'embracing your inner Lioness' for Nikita and Ella with Penguin Random House and executed a social campaign with Superdrug featuring Lionesses Mary Earps and Jess Carter.

Shane is the Head of Strategy for the Commercial Team at Manchester United. He is responsible for developing the go to market approach for the club’s sponsorship business which includes the Women’s Team.
Shane was previously the Head of Sports Media Rights at BT Sport, where he led bid teams across multiple broadcast rights sales processes (including the WSL).
Prior to his time working in sport, Shane held roles in the Strategy Teams at both Channel 4 and Deloitte.

With 15+ years as an elite Rugby player at various Premiership clubs, currently with Saracens & internationally capped with Wales, Flo balances her sporting prowess with a career in sports marketing, initially founding her own agency, The Perception Agency before joining MATTA as Women’s Sports Lead.
Having admired MATTA’s work with the Lionesses, the Red Roses and England Womens Cricket, she joined to help MATTA realise it’s potential to be a global force and leading voice in the marketing of women’s sport.
She combines her real world experience as a female athlete with a passion for design, marketing & communication to ultimately attempt to change the perception of women’s sport for good.

Having held senior commercial roles within sport for 15 years including 2 Premier League football clubs, Nike and Edgbaston Cricket Ground, James became CEO of blood cancer charity Cure Leukaemia in 2012.
James has led Cure Leukaemia to a National Blood Cancer charity and has secured partnerships with the likes of Deloitte, KPMG, The Binding Site, Brewin Dolphin and more recently, a 2 year partnership with Deutsche Bank which exceeded £2m. This partnership then enabled Cure Leukaemia to begin funding the national Trials Acceleration Programme (TAP) establishing the charity as a leading UK blood cancer charity. In 2018 James was honoured to be chosen as 2018 Institute of Directors West Midlands ‘CEO of the Year for the Non Profit Sector’ and also proud that Cure Leukaemia won ‘Fundraising Team of the Year’ at The Charity Awards in October 2018.
As of 2023 the TAP Network was able to expand from 12 to 15 centres across the UK giving more patients access to pioneering and potentially life saving treatments through research into Clinical Trials.
In addition to his role at Cure Leukaemia, James retains close links in the sports world by managing the commercial interests of Warwickshire’s former England batsman Jonathan Trott.
James is also a proud to be a Trustee of Sport Birmingham.
